  • Pauline Bussian - President

    West Moreton Anglican College

    With more than 20 years of experience across enrolments, international education and customer service, Pauline brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the sector.

    Pauline has spent the past 10 years at West Moreton Anglican College, including six years within the Enrolments Team and four years in the College’s International Department. Prior to joining the College, she worked in the international student exchange sector for 10 years, including in State Manager roles focused on student recruitment, relationship management, and program delivery.

    As President of QASR, Pauline is passionate about supporting professional growth, fostering collaboration, and strengthening connections across the enrolment and advancement sector. She looks forward to working alongside colleagues throughout Queensland and New Zealand to support the continued success of the association and its members.

  • Chantelle Cross - Vice President

    St John’s Anglican College

    As the Registrar at St John’s Anglican College, Chantelle provides exceptional enrolment support to families, guiding them through every stage of the admissions journey and helping ensure a positive and successful transition into the College community.

    With an extensive background spanning Hospitality, Marketing, and Education, Chantelle brings a diverse skill set and strong relationship-building expertise to her role. Since joining St John’s in 2023, she has contributed to the College’s continued growth and success through her commitment to outstanding service, relationship building and engagement.

    Passionate about professional development and collaboration, Chantelle is excited to join QASR as Vice President. She looks forward to working alongside fellow members to strengthen networks, encourage the sharing of knowledge and best practice, and support the ongoing development of school admissions professionals. She hopes through her role on QASR Executive Committee it will contribute to the Association’s continued growth and success and help create valuable opportunities for connection, learning and collaboration.

    Ormiston College

    As the Manager of Enrolments and Scholarships at Ormiston College, Ashley brings more than a decade of experience and dedicated service to one of Queensland's leading independent schools. Throughout her time at the College, Ashley has developed extensive expertise in domestic student enrolments and is committed to providing an exceptional experience for prospective families.

    Ashley leads the College's enrolment strategy while providing personalised guidance and support to families throughout every stage of the enrolment journey. She is passionate about building genuine relationships, ensuring each family feels welcomed, informed, and confident as they join the Ormiston College community.

    Ashley enjoys sharing best practice with fellow professionals and contributing to innovative approaches that strengthen enrolments within independent schools.

  • Eileen Hayes - Treasurer

    Brisbane Grammar School

    With a diverse professional background across Europe and Australia, Eileen brings extensive experience in customer service, relationship building and admissions, including several years with the Department of Education.

    In her role as Enrolments Manager at Brisbane Grammar School, Eileen is committed to providing a clear, welcoming and seamless experience at every stage of the enrolment journey. She values clear, responsive communication with families, staff and key stakeholders and has a strong focus on best practice, process improvement and effective data management. Eileen is particularly interested in strengthening systems and workflows that improve efficiency, transparency and service delivery for families and staff alike.

    Eileen looks forward to working with the QASR team, sharing expertise, and contributing to the ongoing success and development of QASR as a professional membership organisation that strengthens connections across the independent school sector.

  • Megan Brealy - Assistant Treasurer & Assistant Secretary

    St Joseph’s Nudgee College

    Megan has worked in educational settings both locally and internationally since 2017. Her diverse background, spanning school marketing and pastoral care within boarding environments, has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of school communities and student needs.

    Megan has since found her true passion in Admissions. In this role, her strategic, data-driven approach perfectly complements her dedication to building lasting relationships. She is highly motivated to contribute to the ongoing success of QASR and looks forward to fostering meaningful connections with colleagues across the sector.
